A Women’s Ministry to Celebrate our Uniqueness in Unity.
Romans 15:5-7 says, “May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.”
Kindred wants to use this truth to build a place where women are encouraging women to be the unique person God has made them to be and use the gifts He has given them while glorifying Him together.
We are a family at Kindred, and each of us are important in this family. We want to be a group of women who want to reflect God’s character. All women are welcome. All women are accepted. Whatever your past, present, or future we need you in this family with all that God has made you.
This autumn Kindred will be studying Girls with Swords: How to Carry Your Cross Like a Hero by Lisa Bevere.
If you pre-ordered a book with us they will be available at the Welcome Table on Sunday. If you didn’t make the pre-order in time, you can also order one off Amazon or download the ebook or listen to it for free on Hoopla (you just need a Chicago Public Library card).
We will be discussing the noted chapters at the Gatherings listed below:
- September 14: Section One (Chs. 1-5)
- October 12: Section Two (Chs. 6-7)
- November 9: Section Three & Four (Ch. 8-14)
