Up to this point, Paul’s letter to the Romans has focused on why we needed a Savior and how we can accept Jesus Christ as our savior. This is all very important information, but it begs the question, “What do I do with this?” Well, Paul answers this question beginning in Romans 12 by showing how a believer is to live in light of the Gospel.
Paul explains that we need
to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect
As a new creation we are transformed, renewed, and are meant to live lives that glorify God. We are a living sacrifice. And in Romans 12, Paul lists out practical applications in how we are to live as believers. Some of them may sound difficult, but remember we have the Holy Spirit who empowers and teaches us. So friends, do not be overwhelmed.

- What defines me as a Christian?
- What “mark of a True Christian” do I struggle with the most?
- What is my “Gifts of Grace”? And how am I serving the church with this gift?
